Adora Pandora

I received my first Pandora item in 2010 for my GCSE results and became in love with the jewellery. However, there was a phase where I hadn't added to my bracelet in a while but that soon came back!
I began working at Pandora probably a year ago today! Little did I know would I become more of a jewellery addict! I forgot about Topshop, River Island and Acceessorize jewellery. Was all about Pandora. I spent quite a lot of money and bought a lot and I mean A LOT during my time there. Before starting my placement for University I made sure I took advantage of the perks there and treated myself to a few things!

However, there was a promotion on which was 3 for 2 on rings! I have such small bony fingers and the smallest size (48) only fits my middle finger on my left hand. They're all too big on my other fingers, how upsetting. I treated myself to these three; a pink heart, cherry blossom flower and heart band.

I plan on stacking the hearts together and then the flower alongside my other rings from Pandora. However, when my friend packaged it up for me I also liked the combination in the box! I think they really compliment each other. Stacking rings are so versatile and stylish I love it. I only got into rings whilst working at Pandora and now own several others alongside the matching earrings!

All of the Lights...

I also needed a new lightshade whilst treating my room to pretty things as my previous light shade was slightly outdated and too young for me! I also spotted this in Next (one on the right) and fell in love. I adored the style and uniqueness of the shade and thought it would look beautiful alongside my pink and green in my room.

I then also discovered a matching desk lamp (on the right) and just had to get it! I'm just of much as a shopaholic on things for my room as clothes! I can tell this will be lethal when I have my own house. They are both extremely pretty, amazing quality for such an affordable price. Being Next I always had in my mind it would be quite expensive but I'm really impressed!

Pink and Green.. Dream

Since I was little I wanted to be an interior designer after watching all those house renovation programmes during the day. Then in secondary school I realised I needed to be able to have good artistic skills to become an interior designer. However, my art skills were terrible! I tried so hard so maybe it wasn't meant to be and now I'm at University studying Events Management so quite different! Some of my friends at school were amazing at art, some of their parents were also amazing at it! Which made me think maybe artistic skills were inherited, or is that just my excuse to justify my very poor arty skills?!

Anyway, since I can't be an interior designer as a career I can make my room and future house look pretty. My room has always been a bright pink and green as seen below since I was about 14 years old? But I still really like it, so fresh and colourful. I've only had a few minor changes in the 7 years which surprises me as I'm quite picky and change my mind all the time! I was recently shopping in Next with my mum and saw these cushions and fell in love! Then I discovered the matching curtains and I just had to get them. It was like they were made for my room, fit in so well. They are good quality too and a reasonable price! I was looking for matching bedding, but my mum said maybe it would be too much?

Check clothes for winter? Check!!

Hello!
Not sure how many people are still following this shambles of a blog! Sorry I haven't posted in so long, I've been so busy at work and uni!

Anyway, I haven't bought anything in a while and recently saw ASOS stock new look items! I'd seen a skirt and top on the new look website that only had 14 and 16 left, I then went onto asos and found it on there in all sizes with the top reduced!

I've been wanting something checked for ages and been waiting for the right thing to come along as I am quite small and petite I wanted something that fit me but that I also really liked too!

Then my beauties arrived today and here they are..

Both from new look but purchased from Asos! They're a nice thick cosy material so perfect for winter and even spring keeping you up to date with fashion for  a long time!

Anyone else got any check items? I'd love to see hem and hesr about them!

Sorry for not blogging in a while again, I'll try and do it more often!

Back to uni / what do you need to take to uni?

In September I will be going into my second year of university.
Below are a few things I've purchased for when I go back! p.s please note I am a stationary geek!!

Here are all my new purchases and will go into detail, these are just a few refresh purchases such as stationary etc.
There is also new bedding, mug, boxes, revision cards and a holder, weekly planner and some lunch boxes.

This is a weekly planner from Paperchase, includes space to write under every day with a notes section that you can tear off at the end of every week. Even though I have a 2014 diary, this will be a useful to do list, details of when I'm working and what university work I have to do!

These are some cute storage boxes for uni to store stationary, make up and other bits and bobs and bits of clutter I seem to come across whist at uni. I also love the cute colourful lids, they are from wilkinsons.

Look at these! Cute lunch boxes!! The one on the right is for my sandwich only, it keeps it fresh without me having to wrap it up in foil or cling film which will also stop it from becoming squished! And then on the left is another lunch box to put the rest of my lunch in to keep it separate from my sandwich. I also bought them because they were pink, from asda!

Other items you will need are bedding, duvet, pillows, washing basket, bath mat, towels, plates, bowls, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots and pans, food, washing up stuff, bathroom toiletries, stationary, laptop, speakers, music and more! My mind has gone blank haha but if I think of anything else I will add!

Love new uniform time at work!

So I may have mentioned I work in River Island and we have just had our new uniform period! I love it, I want to get excited about the clothes and wear something a bit different and try out new things and not just get a top and some jeans for the sake of it!

After trying on several items I came across this outfit..

Now in the picture is a pair of some dark navy Molly Jeggings. They are the comfiest jeans I have ever worn and every pair I have had last really well and I still wear them! They're fabulous, so soft and comfortable and compliment every fit!

Next up I teamed a champagne grey colour racer back cami top with a crop ribbed top underneath!
I wanted to experiment and doubling up a ribbed top underneath a top/dress is a new style statement this season.
I think it adds such a lovely look to the outfit and jazzes it up abit rather than just a cami and some denim!

I have had so many compliments and I hope by wearing it at work other people will take notice and encourage others to try out this look too.

In River Island there is a leather look dress (very similar to this top) and you could team that up with a grey ribbed top underneath too. 2 outfits in one, wear the dress on its own and with a ribbed top enabling you to wear it differently day and night!

With my work outfit I also thought a silver statement necklace would complete the look. This is my favourite outfit at the minute it looks lovely on, believe me!

Autumn/Winter ready!

So we are saying goodbye summer and hello A/W 14! I'm quite excited, I love being all cosy in winter wearing lovely knitted jumpers, scarves, hats, gloves, winter coats and boots!

Now I am going to show you my latest purchases and show you what my current autumn winter purchases are for this year and where they're from with prices.

Now since working at  River Island I have started to become a bag person! I can't stop buying bags, so many I want. A girl can never have too many bags right? So I saw this one below and I loved the colours, it has handles so I can use it as a handbag or a shoulder strap to wear on my shoulder. I also HAD to get the matching purse too!

Bag - River Island, £40
Purse, River Island, £17

Next up! My gorgeous winter coat! I am in loveeeeee. I originally bought a lovely one from new look but the size 6 was so big it drowned me. I was so disappointed, being so small and petite is not as good as everyone thinks. Although everyone is like I want to be thin, no! You don't it's a nightmare buying clothes that fit nice!
Anyway enough of that rant. This coat is from the Topshop petite range! I ended up getting an 8 as I wanted room to wear my thick knitted jumpers and a petite 8 is like the equivalent of a 6 normal. It fit like a glove, and so did the hood! Hoods are always too big on me but this one was perfect.

I also bought a pastel tartan scarf. I thought the pastels would compliment the navy of the coat and I just loved the pattern and colour of the scarf, I feel I can wear it with so many other items. It's really soft too.

Coat - Topshop Petite, £65
Scarf - River Island, £15

Now we move onto footwear. I already own so many different types of boots such as ugg boots, chelsea boots, military boots, ankle boots. But I just wanted a couple more pairs.
So the knee high boots I actually found in the River Island sale, I am quite lucky as I never find my size in footwear and anything I like either. They were meant to be £60 but in the sale I got them for £18! Bargain.
Then I came across these ankle boots in the kids section, as they were only £22 so were nice to just wear to work. They're really comfy, and they do have some very similar in the adults. It's good because I'm a size 4 and kids go up to a size 4 too!

Knee high boots - River Island, £18 sale
Ankle boots - River Island, £22

Now these beauties.. I have so many heels but I came across these and couldn't help myself! The 'barely there' sandals are so in this season! And I loved the asymmetric strap also going across the shoe giving it  a slightly different look. Cannot wait to wear them.

Heels - Miss Selfridge, £39

No just a couple of cute pretty tops. If anyone knows me personally will know these are so me! The one on the left is a pastel pink sleeveless top with a floral collar from Topshop. There are so many other colours in it too such as white, grey, black, blue etc! It's a really versatile top so thought it would be nice to wear to uni and things.
The one on the right is a boxy crop top from River Island. It isn't too cropped which I like and fits really nice too. I have had so many compliments whilst wearing it and have noticed it's also been really popular in store too.

Pink top - Topshop, £16
Floral top - River Island, £26

And you'll be glad to know this is my last purchase!! Got to love a biker jacket! My other one from Miss Selfridge lasted me 2-3 years and I got my wear out of it.

Biker jacket - Miss Selfridge, £49

Sorry about not posting in a while, been so busy at work!
My next post is about back to uni/uni checklist!
